Using our website

Website Terms

These terms explain the basic rules that apply when you visit our website, read our resources, or book a consultation.

Last updated: August 14, 2026

These Website Terms (“Terms”) apply to studybuddycanada.ca and its content. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Separate written terms may apply if you engage StudyBuddy Canada for tutoring services; where those terms conflict with these Website Terms, the specific service agreement will govern the tutoring relationship.

1. About the website

StudyBuddy Canada provides information about tutoring, subject support, test preparation, locations, consultations, and educational topics. Website content is provided for general information and does not create a tutor-client relationship by itself.

2. Educational information and results

Our resources are educational and informational, not a substitute for advice from a school, regulated professional, official curriculum authority, or test provider. Requirements, curricula, test formats, dates, and policies can change. Families and students should confirm time-sensitive information with the relevant official organization.

Learning outcomes depend on many factors, including attendance, practice, prior knowledge, school requirements, health, and individual circumstances. StudyBuddy Canada does not guarantee a particular grade, score, admission decision, or academic result.

3. Consultation bookings

Consultation requests are subject to availability and confirmation. Booking a consultation does not guarantee tutor availability, a particular tutor, or acceptance into a tutoring program. Please provide accurate contact and scheduling information and give reasonable notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.

4. Appropriate use

You may use the website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, scrape or copy substantial portions of the site through automated means, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates law or the rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

The website’s original text, design, graphics, branding, and other content are owned by or licensed to StudyBuddy Canada and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print reasonable excerpts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit the website or its content without prior permission.

6. Third-party services and links

The website may include Calendly and links to schools, curriculum authorities, testing organizations, or other third parties. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean that StudyBuddy Canada controls or endorses every statement, product, or service on the third-party site.

7. Website availability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it may occasionally contain errors, become unavailable, or require updates. We may change, suspend, or remove website content or features at any time. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

8. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StudyBuddy Canada will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be handled when you use the website or schedule a consultation.

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised Terms apply from the date shown above.

11. Contact

If you have a question about these Terms, please reach us through our Contact Us page.
